Your northern bark colored bandana features the log mark of A.R. Beck. Like many of the successful loggers of the 1890's, Beck logged the thick pine forests of Northern Michigan. Beck left school at the age of thirteen to be a sailor on the Great Lakes. Eventually, he became a successful lumber merchant in Chicago. In 1887, Beck registered the arrow-based log mark in Cheboygan County, Michigan.
